Not only can you have 800 numbers for a business phone line, but you can use them for personal use for calling out of your home. They are free numbers that people can call when they need to get in touch with you for a home business or personal use. You will notice a lot of them are used on television. These numbers are widely used overnight when infomercials come on, in the place of regular television shows. There is the possibility of having them added to your business or your home if that is where your business is run; you can still do your work and not have to worry about annoying phone calls to your home.

You don't want people to have your real number, so this is the best way if you run a business out of your home. Some people run home based businesses and have toll free numbers set up where it will ring into their home but it will be from the 1 800 line that was set up. You have the ability to set up these numbers for a certain time to start ringing and you can control when you shut them off as well.

The best thing about 800 numbers is that they can be used for so many things such as: any sized business, in the home and TV to name a few. They are the most common numbers in the business world and they work anywhere. You can have one for your home and no matter where the other party lives, they will be able to get in touch with you for free. The customer won't have to worry about picking up the cost of the call because the owner of the toll free number pays for the service.

No matter how you set it up for your business, you won't have to worry about whether they can reach you because of how you set it up for your business; business voice messages can also be left for you. At the height of the day it can get real busy but if you have the right phone system set up you can always call them back in a timely manner. Your customers will appreciate the fact that you return their calls as soon as you can; no one likes to just be dismissed.

You can get a 1 800 number for a great rate and you will be able to tie multiple numbers into the system so that you can be reached at any time. Even if you have the number turned off for the day, you can still view who called you, where they are from and what their number is. This is a great way to build a good relationship with a client; as soon as you can, you can in touch with them.
