Nowadays, technology has made it straightforward to attach the web and the computer or the telefone through IP Telephony. This connectivity allows people to call another computer or fone. This system is preferred because it costs less than the landlines. For the system to work effectively, a relentless stream of internet should be available. This is the reason why many firms today are choosing this system.

This system has many advantages over the digital system. This is typically because it has features that aren't available in the digital system. One of them is this telefone system has support for offsite staff members through telecommuting. Remote working alludes to the telefone software installed in a PC that is connected to ones office phone system thru an internet connection. This is referred to as voice over internet protocol.

Another benefit is the power to effortlessly network many systems over the web. This allows one to have four digit dialing linking offices. This means that calls between the offices are free therefore long distance costs are cut down. This allows one to access the dial tone of an office which has been networked to make an international call.

This system also avails SIP trunking which makes it possible to lower the cost of rich network services to be a little bit less than the prices the conventional outside lines or PRI charge. The SIP aside from supporting in dialing, it is also location agnostic. This has made it eminently possible for people to call their office telephones and cellular telephones at the same time.

Another feature is the fixed mobility convergence. This feature allows peoples Smartphone to be connected and be switched between their IP phone system and their wireless carriers. This can enable the smartphone to become ones office telephone when one wants it.

When the individual decides to leave the office, the fixed mobility convergence easily puts the individual on his wireless carrier. But when one returns back into the office or anywhere with Wi-Fi hotspot ; the FMC switches off the wireless carrier and turns on the wireless LAN. This is important as the IP Telephony eliminates network charges.
