To Enter A New Decade Of Telecommunications: VoIP Phones Have Hit The Market

South African telecommunications users have long been tired of supporting a titanic telephone monopoly that offers high expense and less than desirable service. Until now, though, they've had little choice but to support them due to the lack of suitable alternatives. That's no longer the case, because the VoIP phone has hit the market. It's less costly to phone people and all incoming calls actually earn clients money.

In fact, this device isn't a telephone at all. It does everything a telephone does, but it works over the internet. It uses voice over internet protocol to work. It's being used all over the world an users are loving all the additional features it offers.

This telephone is a cordless device that looks similar to an ordinary phone, but it operates via the internet instead. Clients need an ADSL line to use it and it's suggested that they have a capped account. A computer of some kind is also needed, whether it be a mac or a PC, a laptop or a desktop.

Any service provided over the internet needs to have a service line. People who have struggled with downtime will know the kind of frustration suffered when this is experienced. Work doesn't get done and money can be lost. This business has service consultants ready to help clients with issues such as installation.

Installation shouldn't be a problem, though, as it's extremely easy. There's no technical knowledge required for this aspect. If clients do experience any problems, though, a telephone consultant will be on hand to help them.

Cellphone calls cost 96 cents a minute and local and international calls cost 39 cents a minute. Calling other VoIP phones is completely free of charge. When ever someone calls the device, the client receives 15 cents per minute.

Those who don't enjoy being tied into monthly payments will enjoy the payment system. There's no need for contracts. Similar to cell phones, one can choose a pay as you go option, in which airtime is purchased in advance.

R500 free airtime comes with the purchase of phones, which means that the actual device is virtually free of cost. Clients don't pay for voicemail, itemized billing and caller ID. This is an enormous improvement on the competitor's offering, and gives as much as a 50% savings to clients. Those who want to move over to the new era of telecommunications need to get a VoIP phone so that they can begin their savings as soon as possible.
